I'm Dana and I'm from Minnesota, but live in Iowa. I love my family, baking, writing, snow, and cats. When I'm not busy petting or playing with my cats, I work in education. I’d rather spend my vacation time in a museum than on the beach, and not only because I’m so pale that I’m reflective in sunlight.
I'm Chris and though I’ve lived in Indiana for the better part of my life, I'm now a PhD student in English at the University of Iowa. I like baseball, coffee, wasting what little free time I have playing video games, reading, and cats (notice a trend?). I’ll hopefully have my degree in a few years and am still (3 years later) trying to figure out how Dana ended up in Terre Haute.
Dana and Chris met in the English Department at Indiana State University. Even though their first conversation ended with Chris wondering why Dana moved to Terre Haute in the first place, three years of love, laughter, trust, and understanding helped them build a warm and inviting home together.
They have two cats together, Dill and Scout, and since they’re both cat lovers, visitors to their home can’t move without stepping on a cat toy (or a cat). Chris proposed on December 20, 2013, on the 25th floor of the Foshay Tower in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Le Méridien Chambers, Minneapolis
We have rooms blocked off for wedding guests at Le Méridien Chambers that can be booked by visiting this link, but there are a number of other hotels that are within walking distance if you'd prefer to stay somewhere else.
Driving directions to Le Méridien Chambers can be found here. If you're flying in and would prefer not to rent a car, just take the METRO Blue Line straight from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport to the Warehouse District/Hennepin Ave Station. From there, it's just a short walk to the hotel.
Gift registry
We're registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, but we'd most appreciate money that can be put toward making memories on a honeymoon in Europe.
Or if you'd prefer, we'd love it if you made a donation to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center or the Humane Society of Indianapolis to help one of the cats in need of medical sponsorship.
